How clean your makeup bag

Lay a towel/old sheet on the floor/table. You don't want any spillages!

Tip everything out.

Sort it into piles-Everyday Use, Weekend Stuff, Bin It. Use the guides in the Tips bit to help.

Half fill a cup of water and put a small dollop of shampoo in it. Put ALL your brushes in the water and leave them for 10 minutes.

Afterward, lay them out on a towel and leave them to air dry.

Clean your Everyday Use and Weekend Stuff items. Just open the eyeshadow and bronzer and give the lids a wipe, then clean the gunk that builds up at the top of mascara and lipgloss.

Find the lids of everything.

Turn your makeup bag inside out and give it a good clean with baby wipes.

Put everything back in. Ideally, you could put the two categories in different bags, so they'll last longer.
